Kicking off Christmas with Hallmark + Cookies

With Thanksgiving over & all the Black Friday deals purchased, it's officially time for Christmas!
And with that said, break out the boiled custard or egg nog, Michael Bublé Christmas CD & peppermint cookie tray!

Today I am sharing my sweetest Black Friday find & a recipe to help make your holiday decorating even sweeter! One of my favorite things about the holidays is the taste & smells of the season - especially Peppermint! That's why, this peppermint cookie tray will be a sure way to kick off your Christmas Season!

First you'll need to visit your closest Hallmark Gold Crown Store & purchase some of the Crafters & Co. exclusive peppermint bark. The white chocolate, peppermint melt-in-your-mouth combo is your go-to sweet this Christmas season. Pair with some homemade thin mint cookies & your pre-holiday cookie tray is ready to go!

Thin Mint Cookies

What you'll Need:

2 Sleeves of Ritz Crackers
Bag of Andes Baking Chips
1 tbs butter
Candy Canes, crushed (optional)

Melt half bag of Andes Baking chips for 1 minutes. Stir in 1/2 tbs butter & melt for another minute or until smooth. Dip cracker into melted chocolate & flip, covering the cracker entirely. Immediately sprinkle crushed candy canes on top of cracker. Repeat for the second half of baking chips & crackers. Allow chocolate to harden completely before arranging on your cookie tray.

While you're out shopping at your Hallmark store, be sure to check out all the great deals! I snagged this snowflake platter for just $7.95! They also offer a great program where you can donate cards to our military for just 99 cents!

Today's post is sponsored by Hallmark Gold Crown, but my love for their exclusive peppermint bark is all my own! Make sure get out & check out this sweet treat this Holiday Season!

Thanks for dropping in today! I hope you get the chance to deck the halls this weekend with a little peppermint!!

Frankly my dear...it's beginning to look taste a lot like Christmas!
