| Happy National Pecan Pie Day, Yall!!! |
So there is truly a day for everything – including a day dedicated to the sweet southern deliciousness of pecan pie. Since I have moved north of the Mason-Dixon, southern details are few and far between, but today I brought some of that to the Hoosier state. Pie, more properly pronounced as PIIIIIIIIE (LOOONG I)…is something that these northern folk don’t love as much as my southern blessed family. That is why I baked this beauty – a favorite of my papaw – to take to work tomorrow. I am sure there won’t be crumb left!
