Yesterday my parents celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary! How special?!
I am so thankful for an incredible role model of marriage & I pray everyday that I love Luke more in 31 years than I do today! As a way to express how much I appreciate their love I wanted to share something special I did for them….
As a gift for my parents for giving me the wedding of my dreams, I created an album just for them…wearing my mom’s wedding dress! It was a complete surprise & turned out absolutely perfect thanks to my amazing photographer, Stephanie Reeder.
When I tried it on & it fit like a glove I knew I had to do something special with it!
To make the gift even more special, I wrote mom a note thanking her for everything & put it with their wedding photos. It was perfect.
The best part is we were able to take these photos at the same location where the wedding was held. It was so hard to keep these a secret since we took the photos in September and I didn’t give it to her until the rehearsal dinner in May!
This one has to be my favorite…
The photo captures two special people, 31 years ago on their special day & me…in her dress…celebrating their life together and the gift of family. What a blessing!!
