New To Do List

When I was 17 I made my first formal bucket list – meaning I actually wrote it down. I distinctly remember that is was in the basement classroom of a building on Morehead State University’s campus when I wrote those 25 things down. Why am I telling you that? Well…I was on my first real extended trip from home and I had the whole world ahead of me. I was about to be a senior in high school–honestly what could be better–and had huge dreams. I was going to be a lawyer, or a lobbyist. ….haha! I just laugh now, because I could never imagine myself in that occupation today. Not because I didn’t have the ability to become that, but because I couldn’t imagine my life without working in agriculture or with farmers everyday…something that if you would have told me when I was 17, I would have thought was hysterical.

Anyway, enough about that…the purpose of this post it to tell y’all about a new journey I’ve decided to embark on…..101 in 1001. 101 things I want to accomplish in 1001 days.

Don’t get too excited…I am NOT creative enough to come up with this on my own! I’ve seen it on several other blogs, but most recently I visited Victoria’s blog, Happily Ever Strader. I read about her list & decided that it was something that I wanted to do too!

There’s all kinds of things like this people blog about: the average Bucket List, Glorified To Do List, 30 before 30, etc. etc. but I LOVE the 101 in 1001 days because it encompasses all of them in a longer time! I started my list yesterday but I am waiting till I get it finished to post all of it. For now I will leave you with the original bucket list from 2007…..enjoy!

…yes…I still had this list from 2007.

Frankly my dear…I had better get busy!
