Today is all about celebrating LOVE. Whether it’s your significant other, best friend, or new bloggy friend…YOU are loved!

Today I am sharing five reasons why I love MY valentine…
He makes me smile….ALL the time!
From his corny since of humor to our random date nights, this man brings out the best in me. I love that I can have an absolutely terrible day, but by the time I go to bed, I am smiling! God only gives us what we can handle, but he also gave me a husband to help me through the things I can’t on my own!
He leads our family!
This should probably be the #1 one reason I am thankful for my husband. I am a bit OCD when it comes to life. It’s hard for me to take direction..mostly because I always think MY way is best. But this last few months, I have learned my husband is the leader of our family & I am so grateful for his leadership in our lives.
He has passion!
EVERY time he goes hunting he asks me to go. When he comes home from work, he wants to share about all the good things that happened. He loves his family more than anything in the world. He has passion for the things that matter…what an amazing characteristic of the man I love?!
He humors me!
This one can be pretty entertaining. From my obsession with impromptu photography sessions to creative dinner menus, he ALWAYS makes me feel special.
He LOVES me!
It’s been almost two years since we said “I Do” but I can’t wait to grow old with this man. We have been through some exciting times & some rough times, but I know that the best (and worst) is still to come. Forever is SO long with someone, but I am thankful to share it with someone who will always love ME.
I hope you have an incredible weekend with your valentine! While I am actually celebrating with my fellow ginger & college roommate (which I am totally pumped about) I know that my husband loves me…and THAT is what this day is all about.
