Five on Friday {Life Lately}

Happy Friday,
Lovelies!

I hope your week was
great! I’ve spent the last several days recovering from traveling & soaking
up time with my puppy child since our separation of said traveling. It’s been
so refreshing to be at home and to have almost no plans this weekend! Tonight
I’m off to a concert with the Church ladies — YAY!

As the usual, today I
am linking up with the Five on Friday ladies & all the cool kids.

National Farm Machinery Show

As much of a girly
girl as I am, I DO work in agriculture! I know…I know…most people who know me
find it hard to believe too. But I LOVE it! I didn’t grow up on a farm but got
involved with the agriculture industry when I joined FFA in high school
(Fitting since it IS FFA Week!). But enough about that…my job allows me to get
to work with pretty cool people & travel to places like the National Farm
Machinery Show in Louisville, KY. It’s the largest show of its kind &
people come from all over the world to visit. I won’t bore you with all the
details of tractors & combines but it was super fun & I got to catch up
with lots of old friends.

Wine + Market

While in the great
state of Kentucky I was able to spend Valentine’s Day with one of my college
roomies! She treated me to an evening in Lexington but my favorite place she
took us was “Wine + Market”. It was a quaint little wine & cheese market
just off down town. They host a wine tasting every Friday evening & since
it was Friday AND Valentine’s Day they were offering a special Sparkling
Tasting. It was incredible. They not only gave us phenomenal wine, but they
gave us all the history behind different types of Sparkling Wine. SO COOL! They
also had a counter of fresh cheeses, an area for fresh, local produce, & a
selection of craft beers. The atmosphere was perfect. I can’t wait to go back
& if you’re in Lex, it’s a MUST see.

College
Game Day

Being from Kentucky,
I definitely bleed blue! Despite the fact I didn’t go to UK, the Cats have
always been the top team in our house (until I got married of course…now L
thinks it’s up for debate. HA!). My super friend had ESPN College Game Day
tickets… on the FRONT ROW. No big deal. We were on TV..kinda a lot. IT was
awesome! It was so much fun & makes me miss the college scene EVEN more!

This was a picture a friend sent us of their TV! Check out those two gingers in the top right corner!

Trader Joe’s.

I am slightly
obsessed! I have been a couple times but I cannot get enough. Between their
gorgeous fresh flowers, unique (& delish) food options, & phenomenal
wine selection I want to go EVERY day! But there’s SO much in there! What are
your favorite TJ’s products?

My first trip of many…obsessed with this store!

Tuesday Tea

Last but most definitely
NOT least is TUESAY TEA! I am so pumped to be linking up with three of my
favorite bloggy friends for a link-up each week. It’s been in the works
for a while & it’s FINALLY here. We begin THIS Tuesday, February 25
th
and you can find all the details here. Khala, Sam, Reneé, & I hope to see
you then!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Leave me a comment so I can visit you too!

Do any of you have exciting plans this weekend?!

Frankly my dear…have a great weekend!
