Puppy “Paw”ty

As most of you know, Axle, our ferocious, fun loving, english bulldog is a huge part of the Frank family. He entered our little family in March of last year (read about it here) and he’s been the center of attention ever since!  Well, this past Saturday was his first birthday and we celebrated, of course!!

**Warning! Picture Overload Ahead!**

Before I go ANY further, I find it necessary to share that I am not really an animal person. I inherited it from my mother – not to mention my slight O.C.Dness get’s the best of me when it comes to dog hair & drool.

Onto the puppy “paw”ty…

…there were party hats & presents…

The Birthday Boy in his party hat!

…and of course we celebrated with CAKE!

I’ve listed the puppy cake recipe –peanut butter carrot flavor– below, but I found it from another great puppy “paw”ty here.
Check out her blog for other great ideas for your event!

Making a wish!

Family Photo!

Despite the non animal person that I am…the party was a major hit! Honestly I can’t wait till we can have a real puppy “paw”ty with Axe & all his puppy friends…yes…that sounds absurd but it was so fun!

I hope you enjoyed Axe’s special birthday…he sure did!
Have you hosted a puppy party before?

Frankly my dear…Happy Birthday Axe Man!

He is so cute! Happy Birthday Axle! As far as "not being and animal person". I think you probably better rephrase that to "a former non animal person"! Much LOVE!!
