So today I have to share a bit of an embarrassing moment with you!
It’s probably not really that embarrassing & really not that funny, but as a blogger…you’ll understand!
A few months ago a fellow blogger tracked down my email to (thankfully) inform me that I was a “no-reply blogger”. I had no idea! She referred me to a few sites to quickly fix the problem & that was that. But last Friday when I was catching up on everyone’s Five on Friday, I commented on Chesson from A Southern Twenty-Five‘s post, thanking her for spreading the word – only to realize by profile had reverted back to the dreaded no-reply. Blogger fail for sure!
So…what is a “no-reply blogger”?! How do you know if you are one?
Well that’s what I am here to tell you about!

Don’t you love when you receive comments on your blogs? And don’t you love to reply to those new friends? Well, being a “no-reply blogger” makes it impossible for us to connect! Here’s why…when you are a “no-reply blogger” and you leave me a sweet message, I get a nice email that I absolutely love! But when I go to reply, this is what I see:
When I hit reply it actually sends an email, but not to you! There are thousands, millions, probably billions of lost little comments out there just floating around in cyber space…not cool.
Let’s fix that!!
This tutorial is for those Google+ users. However there’s an easier fix for those already using the original blogger profile. Simply follow steps four through seven.
Step One…Go to your blogger dashboard & click on your settings button.
Step Two…Revert to Blogger Profile.
Step Three…Continue to switch to the blogger profile & enter your information.
Step Four…Go to your Blogger Profile in the top right hand area of your screen.
Step Five…Edit Profile, also on the right side of your screen.
Step Six…Make sure the box beside “Show my email address” is checked & your email is the one you want comment replies to go too. This is the most important step…make sure to click SAVE at the bottom of this page.
Step Seven…You’re done, You are officially a Reply Blogger!!
You’ll return to your profile where you can click back to your dashboard. Your comments will now show up in my inbox with your email so I can reply, YAY!
Note: If you’re super adamant about using Google+ you may return to Google+ by clicking on the button in the left hand column. I don’t really recommend it & if you do, check & double check by leaving comments for yourself or a trusted bloggy friend to make sure your settings carried over.
