Five on Friday {Goof Friday}

Happy Friday, Friends!

This has been some of the hardest few days of my life! I am so thankful for each of your thoughts, prayers, & especially your patience! Thank you for being so kind!

I am linking-up with AprilChristinaNatasha, & Darci for Five on Friday!

Good Friday

It’s hard for my mind to even comprehend the act that Jesus went through two thousand years ago. It’s unimaginable the pain & suffering he selflessly endured to save me & you from our sin.

Today I thankful for a loving & just God as my sins have been paid for & I can live in the freedom of Christ!

Because Christ offered himself to God, he is able to bring a new promise from God. Through his death he paid the price to set people free from the sins they committed under the first promise. He did this so that those who are called can be guaranteed an inheritance that will last forever.        Hebrews 9:15 – God’s Word Translation

Have a blessed Easter, friends!!

Kentucky Derby Tea

What is better than a day full of all things Kentucky?!

I am so pumped to be hosting a Kentucky Derby Tea for all my Indiana friends this year. The event would not be complete without Kentucky Hot Browns, Mint Juleps, and OF COURSE Derby Pie!

Stamps

As most of you know, I experienced a death of a close friend (family…really) last week. It’s been hard, but it’s God’s plan. Through the last week, our family & friends have showered us with love, prayers, food, & gifts! With such an outpouring of generosity, we have had a lot of thank you notes to write.

This week the family received a gift I had never thought of – a card full of stamps. I was a bit confused, only to realize that it was such a perfect & thoughtful gift in this crazy time where stamps are probably the last things on our minds!

What a great idea for things like funerals, wedding/baby showers, or even just get well baskets?!

Shopping

It’s gotten a bit out of hand lately! All these little boutiques have popped up all over my hometown & I have gone a little crazy! If you’ve seen my Insta you’ve seen everything from shorts & tanks to Derby hats. For the sake of my pocket book…and my marriage…I need to go home! ha!

Turkey Season

Currently my husband is decked out in his camp waiting for a big turkey to walk by. Maybe it’s not a big deal to everyone, but to me…that’s a sure sign that Spring has Sprung & I am oh so eager for the shorts, swimsuits, & sun!!

Here’s to hoping for another “big one” this year!

Don’t forget Jesus is the reason for all the festivities this weekend! Praise him for the hope we have & have a joy filled Easter!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Leave me a comment so I can visit you too!

Frankly my dear…Happy Easter!!
