Promises {Wednesday’s Words}

Confession: Lately I’ve been struggling with a couple several areas in my life.

It’s so easy to get into the rhythm of just doing what we want isnt it?

Today God rocked my world with a simple thought – “I keep my promises.

He keeps EVERY single one of his promises to me – EVERY single DAY! But how many days do I choose my OWN promises over his?

It’s tough to admit these things in such a public place but let’s be real – it happens every day.

The biggest area of my life that I have been taking advantage of is my job. God has given me an opportunity to have a well paying job that provides for all of my needs. He has also provided me with the opportunity to use the skills he has given me to make, create, & share. It’s been a struggle to see how those two coincide when really I want to be working on my handmade business ALL the time.

Here’s the thing – it’s all about God’s timing. He fulfills his promise that everything will come together – in HIS time. It’s realizing that these things he’s given me are to accomplish HIS purposes in HIS time – not mine.

Y’all this is just ONE promise that he keeps to us.
I was going to list several others here but the image below captures them all….and aren’t they beautiful!

Frankly my dear…he keeps his promises!

    You're so right.. He keeps His promises! I love that. It's so hard to keep promises when we are so busy with everything in life.. So thankful for One who never disappoints and always keeps His promises!
