This month we are talking about Living on Purpose.
For me, living on purpose can look different during all seasons of life. During a busy season, living on purpose looks more intentional & structured. Others may be filled with rest & recovery. In my current season, I’m seeking to find a balance of both.
In order to share with you how I’m living on purpose, I’m sharing five words – five goals that is keeping me savoring this season.
hydrate.
play.
create.
rest.
delight.
hydrate. health, fitness & food desperately need to be priorities. my first step – 40+ ounces of water a day.
“And I commend joy, for man has nothing better under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful” Ecclesiastes 3:15
play. I’m reading a book that shares a story about playing for the home team. who’s the home team? MY People.
the people who support, encourage, & fill me. Those who play for me and i for them. more details to come.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13
create. create with my hands & my heart. I want to record details, make new things, & share it all with the ones I love the most. our creator instilled that desire in our hearts & I want to share that.
“He has made every thing beautiful” Ecclesiastes 3:11
rest. moving is exhausting. recovery is necessary.
living in a hotel the past four weeks of my life calls for some serious rest…in my own home, with my own things. rest is what i NEED.
“Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him” Psalm 37:7
delight. delight in what’s most important. at this point, this season, i want to delight in the Lord and my marriage. I want to desire Jesus and soak up time with the sweet man I call my husband.
“Delight yourself in theLord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
