It’s Friday? This whole holiday schedule has me off!
But hey – who doesn’t love a weekend?!
I am joining Kali & Amy for Oh Hey, Friday!
Enjoy.
New Year’s Traditions
If ole wise tales hold to be true, 2015 will the finest yet!
Last night we celebrated the new year in traditional Southern fashion! Every year on the first of January we eat the same thing – Corned Beef, Black Eyed Peas, Cabbage, & Cornbread. Each dish holds a hope for the year to come and it’s an old tradition that I LOVE celebrating! You can find out more from last year’s post here.
On that note, last year I tried my first batch of corn bread in the corn muffin skillet & they were a fail – this year though, a little better. Still not my Granny’s but we’ll just say it was step in the right direction! HAPPY New Year!
Make It Happy Book
Wednesday night I picked up Lara Casey’s new Make It Happen Book & I a cannot wait to see what it will bring in the new year! I love working through her goal planning series, Powersheets, & webinars so this book is right up my alley. If you’ve never worked through Lara’s planning series – this is the year!
If you have gone through her series or power sheets, what’s your story! I love sharing the Lara Love!
2015 Planning
Speaking of Powersheets – I am still working on mine but I have chosen a word for the year. I am going to be challenged by this word but I think I need that in 2015. I have a whole series of posts coming for the New Year but I still have some thinking, praying, & processing to do before I share!
How about you?
Have you shared you January goals or Word for the year? What are they? How do you plan for the new year?

Moving Grace
Can I be honest? I love y’all, a lot.
I HATE when things are hectic and we miss each other. I truly feel disappointed when I don’t post or communicate with you. But, this year I am learning that there’s Grace & that what I am doing in real life is just as important and meaningful as spending time with you!
So as I enter this transition phase for my new job (starts NEXT week) & moving to Tennessee, I am thankful for your understanding! Big things are happening y’all! THANK YOU for experiencing life with me!
Frankly my dear…Happy Weekending!!!!
